Special Needs Teacher
Salary: £24,432 pro rata
Hours: 0.5 (full-time equivalent) permanent and 0.5 fixed term-contract for one academic term.
Start Date: Sept/Oct 2020

Lifeworks College is a small, independent, specialist college for students with learning disabilities and associated behaviours based in Dartington, Devon.

As part of the ongoing development of the college, we are now seeking a qualified Teacher who will work alongside the Teacher in Charge, as well as a team of Teachers and experienced Learning Support Assistants. Teachers teach and lead on functional skills alongside development of life skills, outdoor activities and work skills.

We are looking for someone who will inspire and encourage our students and make a positive contribution to the development of our college.

You will hold a degree in Education or a PGCE and have substantial experience with special educational needs in either a school or further education setting and ideally be qualified in a specialist subject.
