Cransley is a residential home with six bedrooms for individuals with complex autism. Situated within a beautiful building overlooking the countryside, Cransley boasts ensuite bathrooms, a large lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room, conservatory and garden.

We are now looking for Part Time Support Workers to join our team at Cransley supporting six residents with autism and develop a rewarding careers in Health and Social Care.

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you will be tasked with joining a team of care workers supporting the residents of Cransley.

Providing residents with a stimulating and engaging environment, you will support their personal needs and supervise appropriate activities that enable learning and development in residents.

You’ll receive comprehensive training to equip you with the skills you need and full support from other team members. The training is hands-on, interactive and delivered by previous support workers as part of group training sessions.

About You

Although no experience is required, to be considered as a Support Worker, you will need:

- To be sensitive to people with unique or challenging needs
- Initiative, flexibility and the ability to stay calm in a crisis
- The willingness to learn and a commitment to developing further skills
- To be reliable, positive and punctual

Other organisations may call this role Care Worker, Autism Support Worker, Residential Care Worker, Residential Support Worker, Junior Care Worker, Trainee Carer, Care Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, or Autism Care Assistant.

This is a part time role, working 21.75 hours per week on the following shifts: 7:15am - 2:30pm and 2:15pm - 9:30pm with alternate weekends.
