Are you an experienced cook, looking for a new opportunity in the Dartington area? If so, then this may be the role for you!

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Cook to join us at Robins. We are looking for someone who has a passion for producing and planning nutritious, wholesome and exciting meals.

In this role, you will be delivering a high standard of food preparation and cooking, for our young people and staff team at Robins. You will be serving homemade lunches and evening meals for up to 25 people.

In addition, part of the role will involve producing menu plans and ensuring they meet dietary needs. Therefore, you will be responsible for sourcing and ordering ingredients and supplies for the kitchen within an agreed budget.

We are a Learning Disability Charity based in Dartington, Devon. Across the local area we have a Children’s Residential and Respite Home, an Adult’s Residential Home, a Further Education College and Community-based programmes.

About You

Interested? If so, you will need to have:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Food Safety
- An NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation (or equivalent)

Alongside this, you will also need to be confident, friendly, able to work to your own initiative and an all-round team player.
