We’re now looking for a Creative Production Assistant to join our Engineering, Communication and Marketing Services Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Working in a small, dynamic team you will deliver projects which represent the values and behaviours of the IMechE, thus improving the world through engineering.

The Role

As a Creative Production Assistant, you will be responsible for helping the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) to become an exciting, creative, and relevant Professional Engineering Institution (PEI), influencing change across our core sectors.

Specifically, you will work across all internal teams to ensure that each project is delivered within agreed timescales with excellent client management, collaborative teamwork and communication skills.

In addition, you will assist with the launch of a new image library using a Digital Asset Management (DAM) software, which will include uploading all images into the new software and adding customisable metadata.

Assisting the Digital Team, your role will also include:

- Creating consistent and engaging high-quality video and audio content
- Providing marketing support working on event guides and brochures
- Uploading video assets to YouTube, including creating thumbnails, updating
playlists and video tags, and providing analytical insights
- Updating website content using the Sitefinity Content Management System (CMS)
- Photography as and when requested by events or senior management

About You

To be considered as a Creative Production Assistant, you will need:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience with video editing software, both in production and post-production stages
- Experience and portfolio of digital and audio production for member focused content
- A good working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, other Adobe CS programs (Adobe Audition, After Affects and Premier Pro) and digital design software
- Experience with working on video platforms, specifically YouTube
- Working knowledge of front-end web coding techniques (HTML)
- Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

Previous experience of working within a membership organisation or similar would be advantageous to your application.
