Servelec Technologies is a market-leading provider of remote telemetry units, secure SCADA systems and business optimisation software. We are transforming how companies around the world use their software to improve productivity. 

We’re now looking for a VAVE Engineer to assist and actively participate in the implementation of product costing models and help drive cost down and improve division profitability. You will also report and escalate problems and qualify safety incidents, as and when appropriate without delay. 

What you would need to be successful:

- A proven track record in realising product value using VAVE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) principals
- Degree qualified electronics or mechatronics
- Clear understanding of engineering drawings, both mechanical and electronic and familiarity with common CAD packages
- Proven track record of delivering on small and large development & cost improvement projects, both individually and within a team environment
- Knowledge and demonstrated application of DFSS / DFM / DFA / DFX techniques
- Experience in working with both in-house and outsourced design & manufacture 
- Experience in assessing and qualifying suppliers
