This is an exciting opportunity to join a structured HR department and to work as part of a committed and enthusiastic team. This role is a great opportunity for someone wishing to embark on their career within HR or develop their skills in a role that is heavily orientated around recruitment in Health & Social Care.

The role is varied and bespoke to the Alderwood LLA HR function that incorporates many specialties that come under the HR remit. The purpose of this role is to maintain the Recruitment function of the HR team and take ownership of recruitment campaigns from conception to completion whilst managing the candidate experience from application to induction stage. You will continuously manage and maintain the ATS system and Alderwood LLA's social media profiles and also generate content for the Alderwood LLA website to compliment recruitment efforts and enhance the Alderwood LLA brand. Having knowledge on generating content and/or advertising graphics/material is advantageous but not essential.

The ability to manage parallel workloads and effective prioritizing is crucial in the role as you may also be taking on basic ER cases and minute taking in formal processes, such as disciplinary meetings, performance management and other general HR queries. You will also support the HR Assistant and the HR Coordinator in maintaining the HRIS, processing sensitive employee information and updating relevant HR trackers. You may also be exposed to the Learning & Development aspect of HR by supporting the Training Coordinator to ensure there are sufficient new starters for induction periods and also have input in the design and delivery of some training packages.

Key Responsibilities:

- Taking ownership of the HR Recruitment function and related systems, social media, branding and campaigns
- Conducting interviews and shortlisting candidates
- Updating the HRIS with new and amended employee information
- Liaising with Payroll and Managers regarding starters and leavers
- Answering HR queries ensuring employees have sufficient support
- Producing variations to contract letters for existing employees when required
- Collate reports for director level information
- Maintaining trackers to ensure information is current
- Producing recruitment adverts and campaigns
- Coordinating and providing reference requests for current and previous employees
- Promoting equality and diversity
- Conducting HR audits at the multiple Alderwood LLA sites
- General HR Admin duties

Key Skills & Desirables

- CIPD/REC qualifications or similar is desirable but not essential
- Relevant experience in a busy office environment
- Advanced in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and other ICT based software
- Knowledge on GDPR and Confidentiality
- Ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Effective communications skills; written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident ability to establish positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Work cooperatively within a small, fast paced team
- Clean driving license, own vehicle required and be willing to travel to all Alderwood LLA sites

Experience

- Previous experience in an office setting or similar is an advantage
- Previous experience in HR and/or Recruitment is an advantage
- Knowledge of the Health & Social Care sector and CQC Regulations is an advantage
- Ability to create Social Media/Digital Media content is an advantage
