Team Leader - Full Time Days or Nights (Learning Disabilities)
Shinner’s Bridge, Dartington, Devon
Salary scale: £26,062.40 - £29,307.20 per annum (plus an additional £2.35 per hour as a night premium, where applicable)
Working hours: Full time days or nights (40hrs)

We are looking to recruit a Day and a Night Team Leader to join our teams at Robins, our ten-bed Residential & Respite Home.

Our Team Leaders assist and support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in providing effective day-to-day management of Lifeworks Robins provision by delivering the very best short breaks and residential services for children and young people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs.

Children and young people with learning disabilities and their families are at the heart of everything we do, and we want every person we support to have a great life, with excellent outcomes. As part of that, you will be joining our team of staff who are committed to looking after the children and young people who both live and visit our residential and respite setting.

Our night Team Leaders' shifts are typically 9:15pm to 9:15am (these typically take place during term-times), or 8.00pm – 8:00am or similar (these take place during school holidays/weekends). The working pattern is three nights on, three nights off.

Our full-time day Team Leaders have a shift pattern of two days on, two days off. The shifts typically consist of 12 hour shifts (08.00-20.00 or similar) but sometimes you may be needed to support some split shifts (07.00-10.00 then 14.30-21.30).

Who are we?

We have been running our services in Devon since 1996, supporting and encouraging people with learning disabilities to realise their aspirations and achieve their very best futures.

Our values run through everything that we do. We work with passion and are kind, friendly, respectful and positive, believing that everyone has the right to be happy, safe and live a fulfilled life.

Lifeworks is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people that we support and we expect all staff to share this commitment. For this post, pre-employment checks will be carried out, references will be sought, and successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
